Dr Daniel Chiang

Dr Chiang is a Specialist Anaesthetist working at the North Shore Hospital in Auckland and a Fellow of the Australia New Zealand College of Anaesthetists. He is currently undertaking a PhD in Anaesthesiology and Molecular Medicine at the University of Auckland where he is also an Honorary Senior Lecturer.


Dr Chiang is the recipient of the Russell Cole Memorial ANZCA Research Award. The funding associated with this award is used to support his PhD study investigating clinical, neurophysiological and genomic factors associated with persistent pain after breast cancer surgery.
