Jeanette Scott is a NZ anaesthetist with an interest in airway management, research and teaching. She works as a generalist anaesthetist at CMDHB and a head and neck anaesthetist at ADHB. Jeanette met Laura Duggan in 2011 while in Canada on her Airway Fellowship, and continues to teach with Laura at various overseas courses and meetings, including the Difficult Airway Course in the United States.
Back in New Zealand, Jeanette teaches airway management to local trainees, teaches on Paul Baker’s Airway Skills course in Auckland, is the NZSA Airway Lead for CMDHB and is on hospital airway committees in both CMDHB and ADHB. Her most recent publication was a book chapter describing management options when a patient with a difficult airway presents for laryngotracheal surgery. (Hung et al. Management of the Difficult and Failed Airway 3rd edition, 2017).
