QR Quest and Chosen Charities
A competition will be run at the conference, to facilitate delegate and exhibitor interaction. QR codes will be placed at all exhibition sites.
The QR Quest will also be used to highlight the conference’s chosen charities.
QR Quest
By scanning at least 12 codes from different exhibitors, delegates will be eligible to enter a draw for a chance to win a Bricks – Anesthesia Machine custom building set.
The Royal Albatross Centre
The Royal Albatross Centre is situated at Pukekura at the entrance to Otago Harbour. It is operated by the Otago Peninsula Trust, New Zealand’s first private charitable conservation trust. A proportion of every ticket sold at the centre goes directly towards the fostering and protection of the Northern Royal Albatross.
Penguin Place
Penguin Place, New Zealand’s oldest eco-tourism operation, is dedicated to conservation on the Otago Peninsula, with a special focus on the endangered Yellow-Eyed Penguin. Visitors learn about conservation and experience flora and fauna in their natural habitat; including penguins, fur seals, shore birds, and other wildlife.
