The Aotearoa NZ Anaesthesia ASM 2021 is a hybrid meeting, with both on-site and virtual registration options.

Registration Fees

Please note that all registration fees include access to the Aotearoa NZ Anaesthesia ASM 2021 content on-demand post-meeting until January 31, 2022.  For those attending on-site, you will receive information on how to access the on-demand content within 7 days of the meeting.

To amend your registration details, or to cancel your registration, please contact the Conference Managers.  All prices are quoted in New Zealand dollars and include 15% GST.

NZATS are pleased to confirm that if you register as a non-member for this year’s conference, you can email NZATS info@nzats.co.nz with your proof of conference registration, and activate a free membership of NZATS for the remainder of the membership year (renewals take place in 2022).

Accommodation

You will have the opportunity to book accommodation via the online registration process. It is strongly recommended that you book your accommodation prior to Sunday September 26, 2021 to ensure that you receive the negotiated rates. After this date, all remaining rooms will be released and bookings will be subject to hotel availability.

Terms & Conditions

Payment

Payment can be made on invoice by direct credit (account details will be included on your invoice), or credit card (Visa or Mastercard). Credit card statements will show debit as Outshine Ltd and incur a 3% processing fee. All prices are quoted in New Zealand dollars and include GST of 15%. Credit card payments are processed via a secure Windcave gateway, a Level 1 service provider compliant to PCI DSS version 2.0. Confirmation and a tax invoice will be sent via email upon receipt of your form and fees.

Cancellations

All cancellations or registration changes must be made in writing to the Conference Managers at fiona@outshine.co.nz

Cancellations made prior to Sunday September 26, 2021 will be refunded less, NZ$100.00 to cover administration costs. No registration refunds for full cancellations will be made after this date, and refunds for tickets to the social functions will be assessed on a case-by-case basis. You may elect to reassign your registration, in which case please contact the Conference Managers with the replacement delegate contact details.

Should your circumstances change, and you wish to attend on-site in Christchurch having registered virtually or need to change from an on-site registration to a virtual registration for whatever reason, you are able to do so at the current dated early or standard registration rate until October 10, 2021. You will be required to either pay or will be refunded the difference in registration pricing at the advertised current dated rate (early or standard).  From October 10, 2021, if you change from on-site to virtual attendance, you will not receive a refund for the difference in fees as the meeting will have incurred non-refundable costs for your on-site attendance.

If you have registered to attend on-site in Christchurch and the Organisers are unable to hold an on-site meeting due to circumstances out of their control, your registration will be transferred to an early bird virtual registration with the difference in registration cost refunded to you.

If for reasons beyond the control of the Organising Committee, the meeting is cancelled outright, the registration fees will be refunded less a NZ$200.00 administration fee.

Virtual Meeting Platform

Portions of the Aotearoa NZ Anaesthesia ASM 2021 are being delivered virtually, and as such, the Organising Committee and Conference Managers will provide clear guidelines on best-operating systems to use for optimum participation in the event for both attendees and sponsors. The Conference Managers will take no responsibility or accept requests for a refund if the guidance for viewing is not followed.

Health & Safety

The Conference Managers, in conjunction with the Organising Committee and the Meeting Venue, are committed to providing and maintaining a safe and healthy meeting environment for all attendees, and to providing the information needed to achieve this. The Conference Managers, in conjunction with the Organising Committee and the Meeting Venue, will take responsibility for providing health and safety procedures whilst onsite, however, all meeting attendees need to be aware of their own responsibilities. Each attendee is encouraged to play a vital and responsible role in maintaining a safe and healthy meeting environment through:

  • Listening to the health and safety briefing on site and/or;
  • Reading the health and safety procedure document provided on site at the registration desk.
  • Ensuring all accidents and incidents that occur on site at the meeting are reported.
  • Informing the Conference Managers, a member of the Organising Committee or a staff member at the Venue/s immediately of any health and safety concerns.
  • Respecting your own personal safety and that of other meeting delegates and employees.

COVID Safety Awareness

We also ask all on-site delegates to respect these additional Health and Safety guidelines to reduce any unknown transmission of the disease:

  • Please do not come to the meeting venue if you are unwell. If you are unwell, you can attend the Aotearoa NZ Anaesthesia ASM virtually (online) at the discounted rate. To be able to do this, please email the Conference Managers on fiona@outshine.co.nz.
  • Report your cold and flu-like symptoms to your local health professional and get tested.
  • Wash or sanitise your hands regularly.
  • Sneeze or cough into your elbow and don’t touch your face.
  • Adhere to current recommended physical distancing, and any on-site signage and instructions.
  • Download the NZ Government Tracing Contact App if attending in Christchurch. Further details are available at https://tracing.covid19.govt.nz/

Delegate List

Personal information is collected on behalf of the ANZCA, NZSA and NZATS. A delegate list will be produced for the meeting including name, organization and email address. It will be distributed to meeting attendees, sponsors and exhibitors and provided to the ANZCA, NZSA and NZATS, and future organisers of the Aotearoa NZ Anaesthesia meetings. This list will not be provided by the Organising Committee to any other third party. Should you not wish your details to be included on the delegate list please indicate during the registration process.

Insurance

ANZCA, NZSA and NZATS and the Conference Managers will not accept any liability for losses associated with the meeting. Delegates are advised to arrange their own comprehensive travel and medical insurance, including insurance for personal possessions and financial loss due to cancellation or postponement of the meeting.

Photography/Video

The Aotearoa NZ Anaesthesia ASM is held in a public space, therefore we do not prohibit participants, exhibitors, sponsors, news organizations and other companies from photographing or video or audio-taping some meeting activities. Additionally, the Organising Committee may arrange for photos to be taken during the meeting. ANZCA, NZSA and NZATS reserve the right to use images taken at the meeting with your photograph and/or likeness in future marketing materials, including on the internet. The Conference Managers may also use images taken at the meeting with your photograph and/or likeness in future marketing materials, including on the internet, with the permission of the ANZCA, NZSA and NZATS. Meeting attendees who prefer their images are neither taken nor published in any format, have the ability to object by sending an email request to the Conference Managers at fiona@outshine.co.nz.

Protecting Your Personal Data

Please note, the European Union’s new General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) comes into effect on 25 May 2018. Whilst the Aotearoa NZ Anaesthesia ASM is based in New Zealand, and we do not always have delegates or speakers attend from the EU, as a responsible Professional Conference Organiser we believe it is important that we follow the GDPR standards to ensure that your personal data privacy is protected. Please note, when you register online you will be asked to give your consent to providing your personal information in order to register for the meeting.
