7-9 November 2024

Registration and Abstract submissions are open

Register now to secure an earlybird discounted rate to attend the Aotearoa NZ Anaesthesia ASM.

Earlybird rates are available until Sunday 6 October. The organising committee look forward to welcoming you to Tāmaki Makaurau Auckland. Join them in November to hear from more than 60 international and local speakers, engage through a variety of workshops, and of course, connect with our combined Aotearoa anaesthesia community.

In-person and on-demand registration options are available. We encourage you to attend in-person for all the benefits of a face-to-face meeting. We also appreciate not everyone can make it in person. The meeting will not be live-streamed but you won’t miss out. Recordings of the scientific programme* will be available to view after the NZ ASM for both on-demand and in-person registrations.

Childcare can be booked during registration. Onsite childcare will be provided by the Rockmybaby Group from the Thursday until Saturday morning during the NZ ASM.

We strongly encourage you to book your accommodation as soon as possible. Pearl Jam will be in town, playing on the Friday evening and putting a premium on accommodation. A range of NZ ASM accommodation options have been reserved with preferential rates for attendees. Book your accommodation during your registration to ensure you don’t miss out.

*please note a select few closed sessions will not be recorded. These are marked in the programme.

Make a week of it and attend the Perioperative Symposium too

Registration is also open for the Aotearoa NZ Anaesthesia Perioperative Symposium. Register now to attend this special one-day event bringing together a multidisciplinary programme of local and international experts in perioperative care. The symposium is held the Tuesday before the NZ ASM.

The perioperative symposium is open to anyone working and collaborating in the field of perioperative medicine. Tell your colleagues!

Abstract submissions are open

You are also invited to submit abstracts. A range of prizes are available, sponsored by the parent bodies, NZSA, ANZCA and NZATS. Visit the Abstract and Prize pages for more on submission criteria and prize eligibility.
